(Thanks to Voice of Sanity for helping me with the page break mystery...and for being sane.) (Yeah, that's right, I think he's quite sane.) I'm not going to let this one go by. Here's what the poster said:

There is no link to anything specific.
There is no example or any way to check this.
This is a very important question.
The conversation goes on with a comment by administrator Bruce Fisher being answered by the poster I'll refer to as LV. Fisher's point:
The major problem that Peterson supporters have is the lack of experts that support their claims. If there were a couple of credible experts that were voicing their opinion about Peterson's innocence, their cause would get more traction. Why are the experts staying away from this case? Most likely its because they believe he is guilty.

In no way shape or form has she. She's earned her rep and it's not pretty. Don't you find it odd that for 10 yrs these apologists have not approached any expert? They don't ever leave the computer and that's how they think they are going to get Scott off somehow. It's not normal rational thinking. So all this they claim is a total waste."

World Trade Center, Building 7, the Solomon Brothers Building.
Fell down. On 911. In 6.5 seconds. A steel-framed skyscraper.
Wasn't even hit by a plane.
Or...how about another one, one that's less controversial. The worst industrial accident in the Western Hemisphere for decades, happening right now in Japan, and not a peep from the media. Senator Ron Wyden travels to see the Fukushima plant for himself and comes back upset enough to fire off letters to US officials and Japanese officials, Officially seeking attention to this public health issue that threatens the lives and health of so many of us.
You see that there are many issues of importance in our world, and very little time to do justice to all of them..or even some.
You can also see that regardless of the attention of experts, these cases languish in the public mind for lack of access.
(Military Officers for 9/11 Truth, Veterans For 9/11 Truth, Pilots for 9/11 Truth, Firefighters for 9/11 Truth.....these are respectable and accomplished individuals speaking up, in their own names, posting their own thoughts online about this. But because some folks think that TV news tells the truth, and believe the TV newscasters who say "internet rumors" are nothing but rumors, those people will discount this important information and the risk taken by patriots who speak out and ask questions in the only forum available: the Net.)
I have been surrounded by news, mainstream and otherwise, since 1994. And I mean surrounded, on a daily basis, exposed to information, piles of it, heaps and mountains and storms of it. I have my own filter, and it has failed me before (I didn't question 9/11 until sometime after 2006). But I've only been alive for a certain number of decades and can only do the best I can, as an individual.
I trust my instincts when it comes to the written word. I have said before and I'll say again that I have watched very little television coverage of the Peterson case, except what I heard with the sound off while in the studio at the radio station when it was big news. I became interested in 2009 after reading the books. I found Marlene's site and dug into the transcripts. I have met and spoken to fascinating and engaged people who are interested. It has been an education, and continues to be. I do want to know the truth, whatever that is.
In short, I trust my filter until I get solid proof that it's failed me. It does, I'm human. But I am mightily impressed by Marlene Newell's site and the years of work and analysis that's gone into it.
What my filter tells me about these accusations is that they are baseless (and spiteful). I've seen them before. There is never, ever, ever a specific. These accusations have been posted online previously, and I have yet to see even one instance where this was demonstrated. Not even one.
But please, don't let this be the last word. If you support inquiry into this case, I don't think I could state more strongly how serious it is that these questions be put to bed once and for all. I say put 'em to bed, I'm ready; did it long ago. Because I see no proof and I believe Marlene and the supporters of Scott Peterson. They don't need to doctor transcripts.
It's bad law. It speaks for itself. So do the books, the media coverage, and all the rest of the documentation. Whether anyone cares is quite another question.
