DEADLY Dutchman Joran Van Der Sloot is rubbing salt in the already deep wounds by launching an astonishing $10 million lawsuit against his victim's father.
The shameless accused killer, who allgedly admitted to cops that he killed Peruvian student Stephany Flores in a Lima hotel room is claiming his human rights were violated when he was extradited from Peru to Chile, to face murder charges.
He reportedly confessed to killing the 21-year-old after he found her reading about the Natalee Holloway case on his laptop.
He has long been prime suspect in the disappearance and presumed death of the pretty American teenager, who vanished on the small Caribbean island of Aruba where she was celebrating her graduation.
Peruvian prosecutors however maintain that he planned to kill Flores, so he could rob her.
Now according to El Commercio he's claiming his arrest in Chile and subsequent extradition to Peru was a violation of human rights.
According to the Lima daily El Comercio, van der Sloot claims there was pressure from Peru's then-President Alan García Pérez on the Chilean government to extradite after he was arrested in Arica, Chile shortly after Flores was killed.
Several other Peruvian officials are named in the lawsuit, along with the murdered girl's father, Ricardo Flores.
It's not the first time the Van der Sloot has raised the same issues of due process and police irregularities, but all his claims that have been dismissed by Peruvian courts.
Peruvian prosecutors are seeking a maximum sentence of 30 years in prison for van der Sloot.

A CREEP thief snuck into a church and stole a couples wedding clothes and jewelry on the night before their big day. 
Caty and Jack Parker had been rehearsing the ceremony in the Trinity Lutheran Church in Des Moines, WA when the thin, female burglar struck. 
When they returned to their dressing room they found the bride’s bag, shoes and jewellery and the groom’s wedding ring were missing.
It contained Caty’s family heirloom jewellery was gone – but luckily her wedding dress had not been taken.
She told King 5:"I was devastated at that moment. It took me a while to realize it’s not the stuff that is important it's who you marry." 
Jack added: "Pretty much everything got stolen – except for her dress – that she needed for the next day."
Thankfully the couple managed to replace the stolen goods before their nuptials.
But the thief went onto use their stolen ATM cards, in total charging $600 to their accounts.
Dressed all in black, was caught on surveillance camera lurking in the corridors of the Holy Trinity Lutheran church before she robbed the bridal party. 
Now the Parkers hope someone will be able to identify the woman, who is slight and wire a pony tail.

Craig Lede allegedly beat Dana Nelson, 28, and John Ketsemidis, 29, over a drug debt of just $40. 
It's thought all three were hooked on prescription drugs, which were linked to a pill clinic which has recently closed. 
Lede told cops he killed the couple because he was tired of being "screwed about" over a small debt, so he'd killed the pair. 
Sheriff Al Nienhuis told Bay News 9 that Ketsemidis and Nelson had gone to Lede’s home to talk about their debt when he attacked them with a bat. 
According to the arrest warrant: "Once the victims were down and helpless, the defendant struck them in the head and upper body several times causing eventual death."
After taking the sick pictures, he stuffed Nelson's body into the trunk of her boyfriend's car and went to Ketsemidis' parents home where he demanded $40. 
They refused to hand over the cash and called cops, when they saw he was driving his son's car.

THEY say the first cut is the deepest but for Virginia Valdez' husband it was also the most painful - as she tried to cut off his penis with a pair of scissors. 
It's unclear how successful the 69-year-old was with her eye-watering attack, but it's believed that she didn't do a Bobbit and completely sever her husbands member. 
Her spouse 62, who's name has not been released called cops late Saturday and told them of the attack and when officers arrived they found him bleeding profusely and the bloody weapon nearby. 
“They were more heavy duty than the standard office scissors,”  Palm Springs Police Sgt. Kyle Stjerne told the Herald Sun, adding that they resembled poultry shears.
He added that the couple had been married for 32 years and the cause of Saturday’s fight remains under investigation.
He explained: “It was just a long-standing marital dispute, and we are not sure what caused her to do it."
Valdez was arrested on suspicion of mayhem, assault with a deadly weapon and spousal abuse.
Online jail records say she was released Sunday and is scheduled to appear in court next month.
Police say the man was treated at a hospital for injuries in the penis area and released.

A Tucson man who killed a pit bull puppy during an argument with his wife was sentenced to 1 1/2 years in prison and three years intensive probation Wednesday.
Kevin Michael Davis, 46, was indicted in July on one count of cruel mistreatment of an animal and aggravated domestic violence.
Davis and his wife got into an argument over whether he should stop drinking and he twice took her puppy by its hind legs and slammed its head into concrete, killing it, according to court documents.
Davis pleaded guilty to cruelty to animals resulting in serious physical injury and aggravated domestic violence. Under the terms of his plea agreement, he could have been placed on probation on both charges or he could have received up to 2 years in prison on the cruelty charge and up to 2 1/2 years in prison on the domestic violence charge.


Assistant Pima County Public Defender Vladimir Novokshchenov asked Pima County Superior Court Judge Paul Tang to place his client on probation, noting he was just recently diagnosed as seriously mentally ill and would be able to receive treatment if released from custody.
Deputy Pima County Attorney Danielle Constant asked for a prison sentence because Davis has an extensive violent criminal history.
Davis’ wife did not speak at the hearing, but Constant said she did not want him to go to prison.
Tang opted for the prison sentence, saying he had a hard time imagining what Davis did to the puppy, all in an effort to emotionally torture his wife. “It’s beyond disturbing and deplorable,” Tang said.
Davis has seven prior felony convictions and 21 misdemeanor convictions, Tang said. The crime was committed four months after Davis was released from prison.

Nadia Sediqqi, acting head of the women's affairs department in Laghman province, was killed as she headed to work in the capital Mehtar Lam, said the provincial governor's spokesman Sarhadi Zwak.
"They shot her as she was getting into a rickshaw," Zwak said of the attack about 150 km (93 miles) east of Kabul, adding that she worked without bodyguards -- a common situation for female government workers.
There was no immediate claim of responsibility.
Afghan women have won back basic rights in education, voting and employment since the Taliban were ousted from power in 2001, but fears are mounting that such freedoms could be traded away as Kabul seeks peace talks with the group.
Sediqqi had replaced Hanifa Safi, who was killed in July by a car bomb that her family blamed on the Taliban.
Women who pursue careers in ultra-conservative Afghanistan often face opposition in a society where often they are ostracized, or worse, for mixing with men other than husbands or relatives.
Safi's son later told Reuters that authorities had ignored repeated requests for protection, echoing greater concerns that the safety of female government workers is not taken seriously by Kabul, despite commitments to better the rights of women 11 years into the NATO-led war.

Two boys, aged 7 and 11, were picked up by police in Portland, Ore., this weekend after they allegedly attempted to carjack and rob a woman with a handgun.
Police said that the two boys had a cocked and loaded .22 handgun that they brandished while telling Amy Garrett, 22, to give up her money and truck.Garrett told ABC News affiliate KATU she was waiting for her parents at the Freedom Foursquare Church in Portland when she was approached by the boys.They told her to give them her truck or be shot. It's not clear if they were big enough to be able to drive the truck.
"He was showing me his gun and I asked him if it was real," she said. "He said, 'You don't ever ask somebody if it's real. That's how you get yourself shot.'""I didn't think it was real," Garrett said. "They were just two really young kids."
Garrett said that the 7-year-old boy told his friend to "show her your piece," at which point the 11-year-old raised his shirt to show off the gun.
"He said it was fully-loaded and cocked and ready to go. He told me he was going to blow my brains out if I didn't give him anything," Garrett told KATU.She refused to give the children her truck, and they then demanded her wallet and phone. She drove away and called 911, she said."My heart was beating a million miles a minute. I'm surprised it didn't completely beat out of my chest. I was very scared," Garrett said.Portland police also received a call from another 11-year-old boy saying that he had seen a child with a gun. When officers arrived on the scene, the boys tried to flee but were caught.The 11-year-old reached for his back pocket, but was grabbed by cops who found a cocked and loaded gun in his pocket, according to a statement released by Portland police.Officers were then flagged down by Garrett, who relayed her encounter with the boys.The children were not handcuffed or arrested because of their age, but were taken home to their parents' custody, according to a statement from the Portland police department. Police will report the incident to juvenile court, they said. Detectives are still investigating where the 11-year-old obtained the weapon.

Body recovered from Grand Canyon

TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) - Rangers at Grand Canyon National Park have removed an unidentified body found below the canyon rim.
The body was discovered by the park's helicopter pilot on an unrelated routine mission. It was located below the Abyss Overlook on Hermit Road.
Two rangers were flown to the scene to investigate and prepare the body for transport. They determined it was a male of unknown age.
The body was turned over to the Coconino County Medical Examiner. The circumstances surrounding the death are being investigated by the National Park Service and the medical examiner

2 Juarez Police Officers Dead, 3 Injured in Weekend Attack

Two Juarez police officers were shot to death and three more survived an attack during a violent weekend in Juarez that targeted peace officers. As a result of those attacks, the municipal police force will be sequestered "as long as it will be necessary," authorities said Monday. "We are going to sequester the officers as we did it before," said Juárez Mayor Héctor Murguía. "They will be sequestered at the federal police headquarters."

The string of violence against city police officers started Friday morning when a police convoy was ambushed by an armed command at the intersection of Montes Urales Avenue and the Oscar Flores Boulevard. Three officers were injured during the attack.

One of them remains in serious condition in a local hospital. The other two were released from the hospital the same day with no threatening life injuries. A second attack on police officers occurred Saturday morning when an officer was killed while still in his pajamas outside of his house at La Chaveña neighborhood in downtown.

That same day in the evening, another officer was shot while watching over a convenience store at the Anahuac neighborhood.

Murguía said the attacks against the officers was a result of the actions taken by the municipal police to fight organized crime and he refused the idea that the violence is resurging in the city.

"The police corporations are working together to reduce the number of crimes in the city", he said in a press release. "We have a strong and qualified police force."

This is the second time that the police force gets sequestered. In January this year, the officers were confined to hotels after a string of violence left more than eight officers killed in just that month.

Adrián Sánchez Contreras, spokeman of the municipal police, said the sequestration process will start today.

He said the officers will continue patrolling the streets, but they won't go to home after their shift. "They will work like normal," he said. "But they can't go home. This is for their safety".

The sequestration process will last as long as necessary, he said.
